Minimum Qualifications

  • 12 years of experience in human-centered product design or relevant experience
  • 9 years of leading design teams, with a proven track record of building and managing strong, effective design teams
  • Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent experience in graphic design, interaction design, interface design, human-computer interaction, service design, design with an emphasis on UX or the equivalent
  • Demonstrated track record of thought leadership, innovation and change management
  • Demonstrated ability in design thinking and human-centered product design from research and insight generation through concept development and product development
  • Demonstrated ability in establishing a vision for product design across multiple disciplines with an emphasis on UX
  • Demonstrated ability in driving the creation of the accurate systems, tools, processes and guidelines to scale superior product design and content across a large, diverse global organization
  • Strong familiarity with Agile software development processes and methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability in leading designers, with a proven track and managing strong, effective design teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • 7 years of supporting the client experience across the mortgage process and other channels
  • Master's degree in design or equivalent experience in graphic design, interaction design, interface design, human-computer interaction, service design, design with an emphasis on UX or the equivalent

Job Summary
As the Senior Vice President, Design, you'll drive the company's vision and mission of how to translate product strategy into actionable creative or technical designs. You'll establish the vision and direction of the team's output, as well as partner with cross-functional leads and executive leadership to drive strategy. You'll provide an integrated guiding system for the brands' products and services.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a world class team, including finding, hiring, inspiring and retaining top talent while working with external partners where appropriate
  • Foster relationships with executive stakeholders and drive decisions with all levels of the organization
  • Build a culture of design excellence within the organization, establishing high expectations for strategy, delivery of highly engaging designs and leveraging of best practices for delivery
  • Own and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the design process across the enterprise
  • Orchestrate feedback workshops with clients and executive leaders to drive strategic discussions and alignment
  • Develop experience briefings with powerful, unexpected insights that inspire across the enterprise
  • Drive strong collaborations across internal functions, reinforcing the business value of design through a strong and informed point of view/perspective
  • Optimize the organization of the team and companies to produce maximum results
