Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth user research using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics analysis.
- Synthesize complex research findings into clear and actionable insights and design recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to integrate user research findings into the design process.
- Create mockups, wireframes, personas, and other design artifacts to communicate insights and guide decision-making.
- Clearly communicate design decisions to peers and key stakeholders.
- Design and execute usability testing sessions to invalidate assumptions and iterate on design solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into user-centered design solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design and research.
- Participate in the Agile Scrum Process to quickly iterate through designs and gain approvals from key stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong emphasis on UX Research.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting user research using various methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions based on research findings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in design tools, particularly Figma.
- Strong portfolio showcasing candidate UX design work, including detailed case studies that highlight candidate research methodologies, problem-solving approach, and the impact of candidate designs on user experiences.
- Proficiency with Enjoy HQ.
- Experience working in the insurance industry.
- Familiarity with Jira.
