The Senior Analyst/Financial has multiple responsibilities designed to assist in maintaining and promoting the efficient operation of the financial and treasury functions. These responsibilities include but are not limited to cash management, cash forecasting and planning, preparation of monthly/quarterly interest rate schedules, monitoring and complying with financial reporting requirements, producing complex financial analysis, maintaining models, and conducting extensive analysis and reporting related to regulatory finance matters (rate cases, annual filings, data requests).

The incumbent does not have direct accountability for people or budgets.  

QUALIFICATIONS

There are clear precedents and practices that the incumbent uses as guidelines to determine how this job is performed. Requirements for this position are an undergraduate degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or economics with a minimum of four to six years of relevant work experience in the finance and/or treasury-related areas. Possess the ability to adequately communicate with internal and external partners both orally and in writing. In addition, a professional certification (i.e. CPA, CFA, CTP, CFM, CMA, etc.) is highly preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Forecast daily, weekly and monthly cash needs
  • Schedule and structure the borrowing of cash to meet daily liquidity needs at the most efficient terms
  • Perform daily investment of cash 
  • Maintain adequate liquidity for daily business operations
  • Monitor and forecast the daily cash transfers from the Company's multiple depositories to the concentration account
  • Manage all corporate bank account activities
  • Perform periodic reviews of banking fees and services
  • Prepare, transact, and document all wire transfers in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Analyze, on an ongoing basis, all corporate cash transactions to ensure the most efficient deployment of cash assets
  • Create weekly/monthly letters to borrow, repay, or maintain credit and term facilities for approval and signature by Treasury management 
  • Maintain adequate records of all cash transactions
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly interest rate and other schedules for financial reporting purposes
  • Monitor all credit agreements and related covenants and comply with all reporting requirements
  • Manage check fraud-related issues
  • Create and manage all amortization schedules related to issued debt 
  • Work with internal and external company auditors on a regular basis 
  • Prepare numerous reports/schedules/etc. on various regulatory-related matters
  • Provide responses to data requests from regulatory bodies regarding cost of capital and other financial matters
  • Conduct independent analysis/research on various complex financial projects 
  • Take a leadership role in managing Treasury-related banking technology projects 
  • Manage equity-related cash operation process of parent organization
  • Assist in responding to data requests from regulatory bodies
  • Prepare technical analyses, studies, and projects as required by senior management to provide expert financial support to all areas of the corporation
  • Prepare complex, comprehensive, and multi-year pro forma financial information for proposed business segments
  • Conduct benchmarking analysis of COLI investment portfolio's performance by evaluating and comparing performance results achieved by the various investment alternatives on a quarterly basis
  • Perform complex research regarding non-qualified pension plans and/or other financial issues
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Regular and predictable attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job

SALARY DETAILS

$77,716 - $116,574
