Senior Test Technician

Test Technician per company requirement: Ensures PCB’s are programmed and tested IAW customers test procedure.

Hours: 6:30am-5:15pm M-TH (Fridays not usually worked: depending on workload)

Pay: $21-22/hr

Responsibilities & Tasks:

Per company requirements, the Test Technician shall:

• Have an understanding of Simple IPC standards and procedures.
• Test PCB’s in accordance with customer test procedure.
• Use of test equipment such as Oscilloscope, digital multi-meter, function generator, frequency counter, power supply, test fixtures, etc.
• Programming of PCB’s IC’s and/ or microprocessors using various programmers and software when applicable.
• Use of computer to access programming software as well as drawings and PCB’s schematics.
• Ability to read and interpret PCB schematics, drawing and test procedures.
• Troubleshooting of PCB’s when fail test by using PCB’s drawings and schematics.
• Ability to create test fixtures. To accomplish efficiency during testing of PCB’s.
• Experience with Flying Probe tests a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 Yrs. experience in testing, troubleshooting of PCB’s

Education:

Minimum AS degree or equivalent in Electrical or Electronics Technology.
