We’re seeking a qualified Senior Territory Sales Manager to extend our global reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships. Your main responsibilities would be:
- Act as Sales lead on assigned opportunities with primary responsibility of developing and closing new business
- Manage both our existing sales pipeline and develop new business opportunities
- Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
- Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
- Develop tactics and positions by analyzing new venture integration
- Plan and strategize marketing activities with the Marketing and Channel teams for the end users and channels
- Responsible for selling a defined set of products and services and manage perspective client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle
- Grow revenue via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing enterprise client accounts
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
- Develop and maintain prospect and customer list based on strategic marketing data and other sources for sales leads
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
- Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
- Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
- Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources
- Generate a pipeline and manage the opportunities in accordance with XAPT Sales methodology
- Visit client on a regular basis to: ensure client satisfaction with both the system and XAPT services; cross sell products and services and participate in sales activity regarding demos/presentations, proposals, contract negotiations and preparation; know the strategic business, IT direction of the customer; monitor support services provided to customer
- Ensure support services are resolved and / or escalated in a timely manner
- Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
What we expect from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management or related field
- Minimum 7 years’ sales experience with a proven track record of success with Enterprise, SaaS and long sales cycle opportunities
- Excellent business development skills, relationship building, advanced closure, and in driving sales in a solutions-selling environment at the VP+ and C-suite level
- Experienced in selling Digital, Cloud, ERP deals or other large-scale consulting engagements that include global delivery
- Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Agility to respond to new situations by modifying your performance & adopting new skills and abilities
- Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
- Proven ability to plan and manage resources
- Proactive, takes initiative, and self-reliant
- Organized, determined and tenacious
- Willing to travel upon request
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Microsoft stack of technologies and selling Microsoft products, applications or services is a plus or equivalent heavy equipment OEM or dealership industry experience.
- Experience with CRM software (i.e., Dynamics)
