Job Summary:
Acquisition Professionals, LLC seeks a Senior Technical Writer to provide experienced information technology acquisition support services for the Office of the Chief Information Officer's technology contracts, task orders, call orders, and Interagency Agreements. Acquire services that improve projects, increase efficiency by reducing duplicate or inaccurate data, improve decision-making by providing timely, accurate information, reduce risk by ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies, and enhance customer satisfaction by providing them with the accurate information they need in accordance with the strategic plan.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be responsible for Technical Document Creation: Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Statements of Objectives (SOO).
- Assist with preparing any requested documentation.
- Update OPM's Procurement and Contract tracking systems.
- Prepare OPM's IT approval documentation for the OCIO CIITAR review, and the agency's CIC review (procurements over $250K).
- Prepare appropriate documentation for contract modifications, including the exercise of options.
- Provide assistance to program offices in preparing acquisition plans, IGCEs, justifications, clearances, and all other necessary contract documentation.
- Provide or assist in training for OPM employees and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s as needed.
- Minimum of 8 years of contract information technology technical writing experience.
- Experienced in state-of-the-art IT technologies such as digital services and cloud-based technologies.
- Experience with incorporating and consolidating technical requirements into cohesive documents.
- Experienced in developing all acquisition documents including SOWs, PWSs, task/call orders, and other requirement acquisition documentation.
- Experience authoring and/or updating scientific, technical, engineering, management, process, or other professional materials in accordance with applicable standards.
- Skilled at collaborating with other personnel to gather data for various written products developed.
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Must be a US citizen.
