As a Senior Technical Project Manager at RPC, you will be a key leader in establishing the technology team, crucial in addressing major software and operational challenges. Your role involves spearheading software development and integration critical for pharmacies, prescribers, patients, and partners, driving the creation of a unified, data-centric platform. This pivotal position will significantly boost RPC's value through your leadership in shaping technology strategies and transforming data usage in decision-making. You will have the unique chance to lead and grow a team that will fundamentally change the organization's technological framework.

- Lead collaborative efforts with internal teams to establish detailed project requirements and execute comprehensive product roadmaps
- Drive the development of new applications and technologies, focusing on user-centric enhancements while adhering to best practices and standards
- Lead the design and deployment of new applications and enhancements, upgrading existing software and operational systems
- Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, ensuring alignment with user needs and strategic company objectives
- Oversee the creation of test code across various levels (unit, service, integration) to guarantee comprehensive code coverage and functionality
- Expertly troubleshoot and resolve production issues, maintaining system integrity across multiple service layers
Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years in technical program/project management in software development environments
- Proficient in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies; experienced in cloud-based development and product lifecycle management
- Proven ability in leading cross-functional teams, grooming backlogs, prioritizing workflows, and mentoring engineers and designers
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, supporting technologies like automation, pipelines, virtualization, and containerization
- Familiarity with different application patterns (APIs, event-driven services, batch services, web applications, big data) and basic engineering principles for mission-critical software (security, customer experience, testing, operability, service-oriented architecture)
