Senior Technical Lead - Design - Electrical Utilities

What You'll Do:

• Serve as the engineering support technical advisor to the Director
• Lead all design, drafting and support disciplines in the Pacific District and ensure a trained and ready staff for project/program execution, identifying individual training needs and scheduling appropriate training programs
• Support new project/program proposals and recommend engineering support assignments
• Apply sound and diversified knowledge of design principles and practices in broad areas of project assignments
• Provide leadership to the design teams as the technical design leader & Provide input to Project Managers and engineers
• Initiate & maintain extensive contacts with key designers and officials in other organizations to confirm that design practices applied are consistent with current engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and current technological innovations
• Maintain, implement, and monitor a system of quality control consistent with ENTRUST's policies and procedures
• Maintain a collaborative spirit in working with other Technical Leads, district and regional leaders, and other Business Units providing the most optimum engineering teams

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive experience performing detailed design or drafting on technical aspects of projects
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent technical training
• Ten+ years of relevant work experience

Benefits & Salary:

• This position pays between $135,000 and $175,000 annually and is an exempt position
• Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually
• Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours
• May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company
