The Crown Is Yours
We're looking for a Senior Technical Designer to join our team. In this role, you'll work with artists, engineers, and designers to bring our game concepts to life. You'll leverage your expertise to document and evaluate our development processes while helping to drive improvements to our game creation pipelines. Using a mix of game content creation tools and scripting, you will construct 2D/3D layouts, configure UI, and pace gameplay to polish the game experiences to the highest level of quality for our customers.
What you'll do as a Senior Technical Designer

• Develop AAA-quality gameplay, adhering to the overall presentation and design direction. (This includes casino game mechanics and web/mobile UX standards).
• Follow mockups from artists and UX wireframes from designers to construct adaptive layouts and well-paced gameplay that pushes our established quality standards.
• Document existing workflows and devise new methods of implementing layouts, UI, and gameplay. Gain mastery over our tools and pipelines and help improve them.
• Help diagnose and fix bugs with visuals, audio, gameplay, and overall experience.
• Adapt to an ever-changing design environment and problem solve complex content presentation challenges.
• Collaborate with relevant disciplines to ensure that all design requirements, content prioritization, and technical implementation standards are met.
• Promote design and development best practices at both a project and studio level.
• Provide constructive feedback on design and development, driving the advancement of the quality bar set for future game production and show proficiency with game content creation tools and scripting.
• Optimize our game creation pipelines from layout to gameplay, provide constructive feedback on tools and engine features, and drive improvements to the quality and convenience of tools.

What you'll bring

• At least 3 years of experience designing and developing mobile games with a strong portfolio showing work and insight into your development process.
• Experience working on multiple game projects from concept to release.
• Strong understanding of game engines such as Unity, Unreal, and/or PlayCanvas.
• Excitement for scripting game flow, interactions, and animated sequences.
• Ability to construct adaptive layouts for various web/mobile devices.
• Junior-level programming experience: JavaScript, C#, Typescript, C++, Python, etc.
• Confident knowledge of Git branching, merging, and pull requests.
• Passion for video games and interactive experiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,400.00 - $165,600.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
