About the Opportunity

Exciting opportunity to join one of the top CPA and consulting firms in the state! As a Senior Tax Associate, you will prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns for clients in the real estate, construction, technology, transportation, private equity, and financial services industries.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tax review and governmental tax examinations
• Act as liaison and supervise Tax Associates and audit assurance team members on specific tax issues and/or questions
• Ensure all federal and state income tax returns are prepared timely, accurately, and in compliance with applicable laws
• Participates in client meetings and tax planning efforts
• Assist the audit department with larger clients when deemed necessary

Required Education & Experience

• 2 – 4 years of experience preparing corporate, partnership, and individual, and fiduciary income tax returns in a public accounting firm
• Minimum year experience supervising and directing work of tax preparers
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; Master’s degree in Taxation preferred
• CPA highly preferred
• Experience with CCH ProSystem fx Tax or related tax automation software is preferred
