Senior Tax Accountant

Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Tax Accountant in Boston, MA. The client is one of the top investment management companies in the country.Responsibilities: Senior Tax Accountant will prepare tax work papers, such as partnership allocations and tax basis capital schedules Provide accurate draft tax return/K1 info during tax season Enhance and manage information database Prepare Federal and state partnership and corporate tax returns As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will collaborate with company staff across multiple teams and departments Collaborate with external partners and resources Bachelor's degree required in Accounting required; Master of Science is a plus 3 years of experience in general tax return preparation and tax accounting experience 3 years of experience in federal and state -partnership- tax return preparation Experience with Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Zoom Ability to analyze complex data Strong understanding of general accounting principles Strong communication skills Strong attention to detail Experience in real estate and/or Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) tax return preparation is a plus The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
