Senior Tax Accountant
Well established Business Management company is hiring a Senior Tax Accountant. This role is an in office position and is ideal for someone with 2+ years of Tax experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare multi-state individual, partnership, and S-Corporation returns
- Prepare Canadian individual and corporate returns
- Conduct tax research and communicate findings to Tax Director
- Quarterly tax planning and calculation of state and federal estimated tax payments
- Correspondence with taxing authorities
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting
- 2+ years of public accounting experience with an emphasis on taxation
- Solid understanding of taxation rules and proficiency in individual, partnership and S-Corporation tax preparation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and prioritize workload
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Experience preparing multi-state tax returns
- Music industry tax knowledge
