As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for Systems engineering development and support for innovative Siemens products. You will hold outstanding knowledge and understanding how the customer industries evolve. Reporting to Head of Hardware Engineering and work alongside talented multi-disciplinary team, you will be a key part of our Engineering Team, working together to design and realise product solutions through the whole PLM lifecycles: Sales, concepts, bids, design, manufacturing, testing and customer acceptance.

You will:

+ Guide research into future development of Measurement Systems.

+ Identify and assess opportunities for devices, technology, and process development.

+ Work from basic need through opportunity assessment and device concept to prototype.

+ Lead System level technical planning and forecast.

+ Assist Engineers with Product Test plan and guide them to understand good design and test practices according to established company procedures.

+ Provide design solutions for validation and verification.

+ Assist with Team professional development and goal settings.

Use your skills to move the world forward.

+ You have experience in a product design environment, we'd love to see your prior rail industry experience.

+ Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering Degree or relevant industry experience.

+ Knowledge in Measurement Systems usings measurement sensors such as Cameras, Lasers, Strobes, Ultrasonics, etc and its integration.

+ Experience in Managing Systems Engineering projects from inception to completion.

+ Ability to generate concepts, ideas and valuation from clean sheet of paper.

+ Provide Technical Leadership and Support to Engineering Team to help meet the project deadlines and delivering high quality results.
