Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Impinj through external staffing partners of Prime Team Partners. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by Prime Team and will not be an employee of Impinj.
Team Overview:The Silicon Quality Assurance team is dedicated to assuring product quality, timely responsiveness, compliance and committed to championing quality best practices throughout the company.
What you will do:The Senior Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting and assisting activities associated with the implementation of the ISO-9001:2015 Quality Management Systems including auditing process and documentation compliance, submitting regulatory packages and documentation, maintaining records as well as assessing and responding to audit findings. The Senior Quality System Engineer shall be well-organized and detail-oriented with strong technical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to multitask. This individual shall have strong people skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with others in a dynamic team environment. Must be adaptable, flexible, independent, and resourceful to thrive in a fast-paced, small-company environment.
- Drive for ISO9001 certification within project timeline
- Coordinate with different departments for Quality Management System implementation as per ISO9001 requirements
- Review and identify any gaps within the Quality Management Systems. Collaborate with the cross-functional teams and/or process owners to implement the required changes to comply with ISO9001 standard.
- Develop quality audit plans for the sites, projects, and products, and focuses on areas that contribute to business outcomes.
- Conduct internal audits as per ISO 9001:2015 requirement to support the implementation and certification.
- Perform root cause investigation for internal and external audit nonconformities to ensure that actions are appropriately addressed and closed in a timely manner.
- Facilitate and support Management Reviews with department heads and senior leaderships to evaluate and improve the Quality Management System
- Provide review and update to Quality Management System certification plan.
- BS degree in Quality, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience for ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems implementation and/or certification.
- Experience with internal quality audits, process gap analysis, root cause analysis, and ISO implementation planning and execution.
- Preferred someone with ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Certification.
- Knowledgeable of Configuration Management and Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) such as Propel or similar systems.
- Experience with creating and implementing quality document, e.g. Quality Manual, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Department Work Instruction, etc.
- Experience working with the following tools: Propel PLM, Confluence and JIRA, SharePoint, MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) would be an advantage.
