Our IT infrastructure is vital for sustaining our growth and ensuring operational efficiency. We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead our efforts in updating, optimizing, and securing our systems to meet the demands of our evolving business environment.
Job Description:
As a Senior Systems Engineer at Audio Enhancement, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our IT infrastructure to support our company's growth trajectory. You will be responsible for evaluating our current systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize performance, reliability, and security.
Duties Include:
- Assess the existing IT infrastructure, including servers, network hardware, and software systems.
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to the current systems.
- Conduct thorough performance evaluations and security assessments.
- Develop comprehensive recommendations for upgrades, enhancements, and optimizations based on industry best practices and company needs.
- Collaborate with company leadership to prioritize and align IT initiatives with business objectives.
- Create long-term strategies for scalable, efficient, and secure IT systems.
- Lead the implementation of approved solutions, including server upgrades, network enhancements, and software deployments.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement robust security measures to protect company data and mitigate risks.
- Work closely with other members of the IT team to share knowledge, provide guidance, and foster a culture of collaboration.
- Mentor more junior team members and contribute to their professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT solutions seamlessly across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role, with a focus on infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Expertise in server administration, virtualization, cloud services, and network architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of security best practices, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management.
- Applicable industry certifications are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and system integration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels.

Compensation
Salary wage is negotiable based on skill level and experience.
