The Senior Systems Analyst works within a team comprised of business and technical people, participate in the development, upgrade, maintenance, and deployment of various GxP systems, including CATSWeb, OpenText Project and Portfolio Management, Documentum for Life Sciences: LSQM, LSRD and LSSV, D2 Content Server on Oracle database, xPlore search, Content Transformation Services (CTS), and C2 overlays.
Experience writing applications utilizing DFC and Documentum Rest.
Ongoing responsibilities will include:
- Support of technologies utilized in R&D, quality, operations, and regulatory affairs.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues that arise during development or testing, as well as troubleshooting reported issues in production.
- Write/update documentation in accordance with corporate directives including software validation life cycle procedures.
- Provide production support in response to service desk tickets in a timely manner.
- Install/Configure applications and configure servers for optimal performance.
- Proactively monitor systems and logs
- Create/Modify/Execute functional test scripts to support validation efforts.
- Provide clear and consistent communication to management with respect to status of assignments.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree (required) in a technical discipline relevant to computers and programming.
Technical skill sets:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server platform, including installation and configuration of IIS or Tomcat, basic networking, interfaces, and supporting infrastructure platform.
- Familiarity with SSL Certificates also preferred.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix server platform, including ability to read/write basic shell scripts.
- Oracle database (familiar with creating procedures, functions, queries to pull and insert data).
- MS SQL Server (familiar with creating procedures, functions, queries to pull and insert data).
- Proficient in creating SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Azure and Azure Dev Ops.
- Working knowledge of Power BI.
- Working knowledge of Crystal Reports.
- Working knowledge of Java and JavaScript.
- Ability to easily grasp new concepts and tools.

As required by New York State's pay transparency bill, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in New York State. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For New York State, the range of starting annual base pay for this role is $80K - $126K.
