Imagenet, LLC. Is seeking a candidate for an on-site Sr Systems Administrator position in Valencia California area.
This position will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the existing Windows Server environment consisting of Physical, Virtual and Cloud based infrastructure.
- Installation, Upgrade, and Configuration of new Windows Servers in our Physical and virtual environments.
- Exchange Server Online.
- SQL Server.
- Troubleshooting and resolving server issues.
- Maintaining and Initiating Systems Backups.
- General network maintenance related to WAN, LAN, connectivity, firewalls, routing, and general security.
- Assisting with Helpdesk issue escalation (Tier 2/3 Support), both local and remote, and hands on issues (Tier 1/2/3) locally.
- Assisting the Sr Systems Engineer with new infrastructure projects On-Premises, In our Datacenter and in our Cloud Environments.
- Coordinating systems upgrades and changes with internal users and clients.
- Participate in on-call and systems maintenance rotations.
- Creating and updating Systems, network, and procedural documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of relevant IT experience.
- Exceptional Communications Skills (Written and Oral).
- Ability to work both individually and as a member of a team.
- Microsoft Windows 7/10/11 and Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365.
- Active Directory (Users, Groups, Group Policy, Registry), On-premises and Azure AD.
- Windows Server and Application Clustering.
- Virtualization Technologies (Preferably Microsoft Hyper-V).
- Cloud Infrastructure (Amazon Web Services preferred).
- Exchange Online (General upkeep, backups, troubleshooting, and Migrations).
- SQL Server 2008+ (Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, general queries, backup).
- Backup Technologies, On-premises (Quest Rapid Recovery a plus) and Cloud.
- Software Update and Deployment technologies.
- General networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Subnetting, and firewall configurations).
- Remote Access technologies (VPN, Remote Desktop, Remote Desktop Infrastructure).
- Security (Firewalls, IPS, Anti-Virus, Device/App Controls, Content Filtering).
- SonicWALL UTM knowledge is a plus.
- HiTrust Security Certification experience is a plus.
- Able to travel (10%) as needed to support Networking and Systems projects.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
