Job Description
Senior System Administrator
The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for monitoring system performance, analysis, provisioning, the day-to-day administration of, and supporting project delivery for the organization.
Ongoing documentation of systems and team collaboration
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
Understand and manage complex systems
Good knowledge of security compliance frameworks: ISO, NIST, CIS, GDPR
Test new releases of products, system patches and vulnerabilities to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact
Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed
Ensure necessary administration tasks are completed
Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases
Report project status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts
Ensure the smooth deployment of applications
Ability to troubleshoot, understand, execute, and communicate root causes and implement solutions to resolve issues
Lead/Work on system initiatives and new projects
Perform vulnerability and patch management administration across the environment.
Demonstrate the ability to present areas of expertise to team members
Works with IT staff to determine specific needs and how to implement technical solutions best
Demonstrated experience integrating and maintaining systems
Resolve all escalated support tickets
Proven experience hardening Windows Systems using CIS or similar frameworks
Other duties as assigned by management.
Must be able to work independently to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, identify and isolate technical issues
Must have extensive knowledge: Azure AD, Google Workspace, Jamf, Slack, Intune MDM, Azure Services
Minimum 8+ years of experience in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure and Google.
Minimum 8+ years of experience troubleshooting and supporting production environment issues
