Senior Staff Accountant

Evolutions Flooring is looking for a highly motivated professional to join our superb team as a Senior Staff Accountant. We are one of the largest hardwood floor designers/importers in the U.S. and have been in the business for more than a decade. We are Marketing-Focused, Innovative and Fast Growing!

Job Responsibilities:

This Staff Accountant will report to an accounting manager and assist him in managing daily accounting related tasks and activities. Key responsibilities include:

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements
• Process daily vendor bills and customer payments
• Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
• Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue
• Maintain and record fixed assets
• Act as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies
• Manage office administration initiatives as necessary
• Process expense imbursements

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates shall have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years' related experience preferred
• Hands-on experience working with general ledgers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop or other accounting and office systems, including Microsoft Office
• Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
