The Senior Staff Accountant will support key functions of the Finance team by ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, organized, and maintained. This includes maintaining accurate ledger entries along with reconciling subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
In our fast-paced environment, success in performing these functions will require excellent communication and organization skills, along with the ability to be task oriented and ensure full accountability for these duties.
- Generate sales orders and invoices for multiple clients and projects and submit invoices through client portals.
- Collaborate with finance manager on revenue recognition rules and plans for client projects.
- Verifying, reconciling, and posting accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform collection services and develop client relationships.
- Review each project’s statement of work and change orders for invoicing and budget reconciliations in NetSuite.
- Prior Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and revenue recognition management experience a plus.
- Collaborate with the Operations team related to project tasks and resources in Kantata, our resourcing and allocations software.
- Assist with the month end close and monthly account reconciliations.
- Assist with yearly audit reconciliations and support.
- Maintain accounting records with integrity and confidentiality.
Skills & Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficient knowledge and experience using NetSuite or other ERP financial accounting software, along with Kantata, Excel, Slack, Microsoft Office experience a plus.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing priorities and demands.

- Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities to meet deadlines.

Compensation Range: $85,000 - $92,000 annually.
Please note that compensation packages are finalized after the interview process is concluded. We use a competency-based approach to base pay, which means it is based on the competencies and skills demonstrated for this role.
