The posted compensation range is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay Acclara in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Acclara may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

OVERVIEW

The Sr. Specialist, Data Production is responsible for managing, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to drive business insights and support decision-making across the organization. This position will work closely with various departments and teams to identify and solve data-related problems, and develop innovative strategies to improve data quality, efficiency, and accuracy. Various duties which include collecting, reconciling, organizing, and analyzing data as it relates to data processing. Sr. Specialists are also responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the healthcare data that are imported and exported from Acclara’s workflow systems. This responsibility also includes maintenance and monitoring of Acclara’s Database Platform.
Responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring & maintaining appropriate workflows, schedules, and metrics for the flow of data to and from multiple Acclara’s workflow systems utilizing existing tools and processes
  • File maintenance, account maintenance and monitoring must be supported daily with back-up coordination.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Acclara’s Database Workflow systems.
  • Working to minimize the number of data variances between Client systems and Acclara’s systems to aid accurate and timely account resolution and patient satisfaction.
  • Audit, review, and approval of Client Statements.
  • Audit client data as well as data processes and provide feedback as to the results of the audit.
  • Providing troubleshooting and resolutions for identified data irregularities.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate communication of data variances and resolution to appropriate partners
  • Support and create reports/stats that are needed for operational needs.
  • Validating and process source data files and assist with the input and output of data to and from various systems and applications.
  • Participate in team meetings and participate in new initiatives and development of efficient workflows.
  • Ensure completion of tasks and processes with the expected and documented results
  • Ensure data handling adheres to all Acclara and client policies.
  • Create and keep existing standard operating procedures (SOPs) updated as necessary based on changes made within workflows for designated clients or processes.
  • Ensuring adherence to company and industry best practices
  • Lead in month-end closing processes.
  • Efficient in extracting and manipulating data from a data base using SQL knowledge.
  • Create queries, pull data from the database and be able to test data using SQL.
  • Work with DI Analyst team to transition new processes to the Production Team.
  • Work with DI Analyst team to review and troubleshoot data concerns and issues.
  • Assist in Implementing new process improvements.
  • Serve as a mentor as assigned.
  • Motivate and serve as resource to team members.
  • Take lead on projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
  • 3 years of demonstrated skill working with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite products.
    • Excel (formulas, functions, pivot tables, macros)
    • Experience with Power Point
    • Run standard excel queries, filter, and analyze data for data discrepancy patterns, and prioritization of resolution activity.
  • Experience reading & interpreting various file format specifications.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data findings.
  • Experience with data quality processes, data quality checks, and validations
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve data-related issues.
  • Exhibits effective communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Manually extract, transform, load data into operational systems.
  • Proven ability to learn and utilize multiple technological resources demonstrating technical aptitude.
  • Research and analytical skills sufficient to resolve data integration issues.
  • Experience with and strong understanding of health care data.
  • Efficient with data management systems such as SQL queries. (running, updating, extracting, and manipulating data)
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
  • Close attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Positive influence to help promote teamwork within the team.
  • Experience utilizing Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions.
  • History of applying discretion and sound judgment in managing complex processes, decisions, and handling confidential and sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of revenue cycle and health care transaction sets
  • Experience reading & interpreting data mapping documents.
  • Skills to drive standardization and ongoing data-quality efforts.
