Responsibilities- Act as the SME for Microsoft SharePoint and supporting ecosystem of tools
- Perform as technical expert and architect for providing leadership to SharePoint designers and administrators
- Work with site collection stakeholders and site content managers to create/build SharePoint solutions and migration support
- Lead architecture and process strategies, ensuring that the enterprise SharePoint environment is scalable, sustains performance requirements, and complies with VA's privacy and security policies
- All recommended strategies shall be provided to the VA Resource Lead for approval prior to any implementation or changes
- Monitor and respond to escalated Service Desk tickets supporting SharePoint Technician and Intern(s) as required
- Develop course content and conduct training for SharePoint
- Implement and support "form services", custom reporting, custom workflow, and searches
- Monitor design team in executing the design plan and quality assurance activities
- Work with business and infrastructure partners to define SharePoint deployment strategies
- Work with projects teams to analyze business and technical requirements to include work and budget plans
- Develop workflow processes
- Must be able to work closely with customers, architects, and management to deliver solutions
- Ability to facilitate architecture and design sessions with customers, stakeholders, and content managers
- Must be able to design document solutions
- Ability to design and implement complex data models
- Must be able to design SharePoint solutions using the appropriate tools
- Ability to identify units of work and manage team member assignments
- Must be able to plan, execute, document, track, and resolve unit, system integration, and performance tests
- Expert in SharePoint Online, Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps, Power BI, Power Virtual Agent) and Office Integration
- Business Process Management
- Basic workflow skills
- Data analytics experience (Intermediate/Novice)
- Knowledge of solution architecture and system integration (SharePoint Online)
- Ability to identify and analyze business processes to be automated
- Ability to design the automation process
- Experience writing low-level computer languages (web based)
- Experience writing code
Education:
- Master's degree (computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline) and 10 years of prior relevant experience
- Ten (10) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (20 years total)
Clearance:
- The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation
Location:
- Remote, USA
- Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST)
Pay Range:
- The pay for this position ranges from $55,730 to $103,500
- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
