Senior Software Engineers - Reactjs, React Native - Multiple Roles Available!

Foodstuffs are looking for talented   senior Software Engineers who are passionate about what they do. Driving significant parts of our business, you'll build awesome user experiences in our digital channels across the digital customer journey.

 

In this role you will:

 

-           Be a valued member of an Agile team, contributing in-person to established Scrum and quarterly planning events.

-           Build awesome experiences on our customer-facing channels using React and/or React Native and their families of front-end technologies

-           Collaborate with team members representing cross-functional disciplines such as back-end service development, architecture, product, UX, DevOps and Quality Assurance.

-           Bring pixel perfect designs from the UX team to life in our web sites and web apps ( newworld.co.nz , panknsave.co.nz etc.)

-           Participate in design, feedback sessions, user testing, knowledge sharing

 

 

Passionate about tech, you'll thrive in agile, collaborative environments and be energised by the part you'll play in our digital journey. An experienced developer, we'd like to see:

 

-           A good comprehension of Agile and design principles

-           Strong focus on front-end related aspects of software development in your career (you enjoy the visual aspects of frontend development), with experience in ReactJS and/or React Native.

-           Solid understanding of handling of state management (e.g. Redux/RTK, Context, etc)

-           Experience building APIs with node.js

-           Comfort with the frontend tool chain (cli, npm, webpack, etc.)
