Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer - Test Automation with a strong background in Microsoft technologies and Data engineering. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing software testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and perform end-to-end automation testing.
Responsibilities:
+ Solid Understanding of Microsoft and Data Engineering technologies like Azure Databricks and Scala, .NET, Angular, Web API
+ Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and implement effective automation tests.
+ Develop and maintain best practices, standards, and guidelines.
+ Help the team prevent defects by baking in quality practices early in the planning and development phases.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the existing automation scripts.
+ Oversee defect discovery, prevention, and tracking with the scrum team.
+ Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the team.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
+ Proven experience working with Gherkins, Selenium, or any QA automation technologies.
+ Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts.
+ Experience with .NET development is highly desirable.
+ Familiarity with Angular or other front-end frameworks would be an added benefit.
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, agile environment.
+ Healthcare background and experience with healthcare applications is a plus.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $63,140.06 - $143,517.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
