Waseca MNPrinciple Engineer: NPI
Position Summary
Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Develop, commercialize and support the field and customer introduction of new products and systems.
2.Ensure that projects are planned and executed in a timely and efficient manner.
3.Evaluate market opportunities in area of competence and proposes solutions.
4.Plan and coordinate own research and engineering projects along with the research of others.
5.Maintain extensive client contacts and continuously assesses their needs and propose solutions.
6.Direct the work of other Engineers and Technical Support Staff.
7.Understand business objectives linked to the development and application of technology.
8.Serve as technical interface between Schlumberger, academia and industry consortia.
9.Publish documents, make presentations and participate in technical audits.
10.Comply with applicable company policies.

Expert in LabVIEW, C/C , proficient in MS SQL Server. Altium or Allegro Cadence will be a plus. Solid knowledge/experience with RF based products in production environment.

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel small and medium sized components. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and to lift weight or exert force up to 50 pounds.
