Senior Software Engineer - Enterprise Information Services - 100% Remote within Providence footprint of states (WA, OR, CA, AK, TX, MT, NM)

Our team at Providence is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience as a UX centric full-stack developer. You can help us build applications with the right test/dev/devops infrastructure to allow us to move quickly to accelerate our software development processes. A Senior Software Engineer is focused upon helping us build cloud-native architectures and technologies that delight our caregivers and add strategic value to Providence. They evaluate requirements, estimate costs, and design and implement solutions and services using the latest Azure technologies. We have embraced a microservices application architecture and are looking to extensively use Platform as a Service (PasS) compute infrastructures and managed services.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering Or equivalent educ/experience
• 5 years Related experience; software development preferred.
• Extensive experience with object-oriented programming in C#, Java, Python or equivalent.
• Experience with source code control systems such as Git.
• SQL integration development experience with SQL/NoSQL.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools such as Azure Devops, TFS, and Jira.
• Proven track record of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplined team.
• Experience designing and successfully implementing a large project.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a cloud computing environment, specifically Azure
• Experience in building applications using Angular
• Experience in building applications in a C#/.Net environment
• Experience in Agile methodologies and CI/CD

Oregon (Portland), Alaska (Anchorage) Min: $53.90, Max: $91.78

Oregon (non-Portland), South Eastern WA Min: $50.25, Max: $85.56

Eastern Washington (Richland, Spokane, Walla Walla) Min: $47.96, Max: $81.67

Montana (except Great Falls), New Mexico Min: $43.40 , Max: $73.

Texas Min: $41.11, Max: $70
