As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in empowering developers across the entire company. You will work closely with development teams, collaborating to identify pain points in their processes and designing and implementing effective developer tooling. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our Software Engineering practices, enabling us to deliver exceptional experiences to our physicians and patients.
What You Will Do:
- Act as a technical leader and key contributor within your team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address their testing needs
- Design and implement robust frameworks, tools, and processes
- Write clear, maintainable, and efficient code
- Conduct comprehensive testing of your software applications, including functional, integration, and regression testing
- Identify and report defects, track issues, and ensure their resolution
- Mentor and guide junior team members in Software Engineering best practices
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Software EngineerOR a minimum of three years with an advanced degree
- 1+ years of recent experience with TypeScript
- Full-stack programming experience with NestJS and React
- Professional experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling
Bonus Points for:
- Professional experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Demonstrated experience using Terraform
- Experience with Postgres or MySQL
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data security standards
