The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $160,000 USD - $240,000 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $135,300 USD - $240,000 USD

Responsibilities:
- Lead a scrum team for design and development
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and QA counterparts on functional design and analysis of requirements
- Design and develop a product in a metadata-driven development environment
- Create and maintain robust, efficient and maintainable code using an OO framework and class modeling
- Create and maintain reliable automated tests
- Troubleshoot customer reported issues
- Mentor and learn from other team members through pair programming, code reviews, knowledge sharing, hackathons, etc
About You
Experience/Skills/Education:
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience with Web application development or SaaS (Software as a Service); UML is a plus
- 5+ years experience in OO design and development in an object oriented language such as Java, C#, etc...
- 3+ years of experience with design and development of REST API and converting web services from SOAP to REST or vice-versa.
- Strong working knowledge of design and analysis of software with respect to its performance, availability and security
Other Qualifications:
- You feel the key to good object oriented development is strong design patterns
- Experience designing/developing business applications, (knowledge of ERP systems, HR or Human Capital Management is a plus)
- You believe applications should be usable and configurable
- Must be a collaborative team player with good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with XML, Integration technologies and Mobile technologies is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience
