Job Summary:
Lead the development of the front end and the Application Programming layer of our next generation platform primarily used for Altair's Model Based Systems Engineering and Process Engineering tools, using Object Oriented Programming technologies.
What You Will Do:

• Work in software development team for Altair Activate product
• Lead the development of the Block Diagram Editor and its integration with Altair products
• Ensure quality and reusability of components in other Altair products
• Work closely with Program Management to develop the component
• Work across time zones with teams across the globe

What You Will Need:
Basics:

• Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years work experience using Object Oriented Programming
• Strong, proven, Software Development experience using C
• Good development experience using Qt
• Excellent communication skills
• Good English in speaking and writing
• Ability to be self-organized, prioritize tasks and skilled in time management
• Attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple tasks
• Ability to drive initiatives as well as work as part of a global team

Preferred:

• Development experience using Python
• Knowledge of OpenSceneGraph is a plus
• Experience with 3D animation is a plus (OpenGL)
• Experience with a block-based modeling tool (e.g. Activate, Simulink, Amesim...)
• Experience with Agile development methodology
