Senior Software Developer, IBM Corporation, Austin, TX (Up to 60% telecommuting permitted): Create data pipelines to validate and restore data integrity for Security Operations Services. Propose architecture for a data engineering pipeline to aggregate, virtualize, catalogue, and visualize large amounts of data. Improve data security by implementing access controls for critical assets. Architect and implement secrets management strategies replacing the existing HashiCorp Vault tool. Document recommendations and strategies to enhance the compaction and backup algorithms for data. Contribute to the team strategy and planning sessions for data augmentation requirements. Utilize Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, Python, SQL, Hadoop (Spark and SOLR - for querying), Java (Android and Core), and Containerization (Docker and Kubernetes). Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Information Technology or related and One (1) year of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Software Engineer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, Python, SQL, Hadoop (Spark and SOLR - for querying), Java (Android and Core), and Containerization (Docker and Kubernetes).
