The Job at a Glance 

The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for building proof-of-concepts and prototypes of several initiatives to find solutions that drive the most value.  In this role you will design, develop and implement various data science and machine learning solutions from various customer feedback sources to model customer intent that will inform, enhance and deliver personalized customer experience. A Typical Day 

• Lead the design, development and implementation of Machine Learning models, including but not limited to Natural Language Processing (NLP) models from customer feedback data to understand and predict customer intent.
• We have a lot of customer feedback data that you will use as a source and leverage NLP technologies to extract insight to support decision making and improve the customer experience.
• Develop specific data science models for supply chain, routing and other applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams - product managers, engineers, data analysts and customer service teams- to gather technical requirements for scalable NLP solutions and help the business leaders leverage the insights from the model
• Technology changes constantly so you will stay up to date with the latest advancements in NLP, conversational AI and ML. You will have the opportunity to apply in our projects
• It is all about building a community. You will mentor and guide data analysts and aspiring Data Scientists. Your technical expertise will help us grow, learn continuously, and innovate.
• Collaborate with vendors, and external partners to explore and evaluate cutting-edge techniques and technologies that can boost our initiatives.

To Land This Opportunity 

• 6+ years of proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing ML and DS models and algorithms.
• You demonstrated success in understanding customer intent through the application of ML technologies
• You are proficient in programming languages such as Python, and NLP libraries/frameworks like NLTK, SpaCy
• You have understanding of machine learning principles in business applications
• You have experience with ML/DS/AI field such as optimization, pricing, and visual processing - bonus points if you have NLP experience!

You are experienced with end-to-end ML projects preferably NLP: corpus pre-processing, modeling, supervised and unsupervised modeling, transfer learning, with structured and unstructured data 

• You love to keep learning
• You’re an all-star communicator, fluent in English (both written and verbal), with proven decision-making skills
