OVERVIEW:
A global food manufacturing company is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the food industry to drive sales and cultivate relationships with key grocery and retail accounts. The company is the industry leader in fermented Food Products committed to delivering high-quality and healthy Food Products to consumers. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of the company. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual who aspires to grow into a management position in the future.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets within the grocery and retail sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at existing and potential client accounts.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure profitable partnerships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure a unified approach in meeting client needs.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to provide insights for product development and sales strategies.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to key stakeholders, showcasing the benefits and value proposition of products.
• Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence to management.
• Travel to client locations as needed to foster relationships, attend industry events, and stay abreast of market developments.


QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of successful sales experience in the food manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of the grocery and retail landscape, including industry trends and key players.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build lasting relationships.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strategic mindset and the ability to work independently.
• Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
• Understanding or interests in Japanese culinary and nutritional special diets (gluten free, USDA organic, Kosher, vegetarian) preferred.
• Willingness to travel as required (domestic).



The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
