Essential Functions
The Department of Computer Science at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) invites applications for a Senior Research Associate Position starting August 1, 2022, in the areas of cloud computing and software engineering. The candidate will be responsible for delivering online undergraduate and graduate classes, conduct research in cloud computing leading to the design and delivery of hands-on undergraduate and graduate cloud computing courses, and certificates. Candidates with prior industrial experience including state-of-the-art cloud computing platform are preferred.
Work Schedule
M-F 8-5, As assigned, some evening classes may be scheduled
Additional Duties
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have completed an earned doctorate in computer science or related disciplines by the expected start date. The candidate should have a strong potential to conduct high quality research, be committed to excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and to the design of cloud computing curriculum. The candidate will also have opportunities to engage in interdisciplinary collaborations across the university.
