The Senior Representative, Lead Generation & Marketing generates & drives high quality leads and strategic appointments through a variety of activities, including but not limited to: building & executing demand generation campaigns, direct end user engagement, email & direct mail to identified strategic targets, following up on contact names built via web traffic, online public relations (PR), channel marketing programs/campaigns, tradeshow/event contact lists, email marketing, social & digital marketing, search engine optimization (SEO) and blogs.
The role plans and executes on comprehensive Lead Generation marketing campaigns using a full range of direct and digital marketing channels to support revenue growth within each vertical.
In addition to driving results, this role participates in the development and execution of innovative Lead Generation projects to discover potential sales opportunities and meetings with strategic prospects/targets, with the goal of growing the Brother Mobile Solutions (BMS) business.

Lead Generation

  • Generate and provide BMS Division with qualified revenue opportunities through traditional and nontraditional methods (e.g. cold engagement, targeted web traffic, strategic partnerships, online PR, affiliate marketing, email marketing, SEO, pay-per-click, social networks)
  • Build automated email messaging campaigns & cadences to help drive opportunity discovery by leveraging Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within Lead Generation & Marketing campaigns and proactively developing alternate plans
  • Build and append an overall database of companies within each BMS vertical, identifying existing customers, existing/pending opportunities, use of competitor products, etc.
  • Develop and execute internal Lead Generation Campaigns in conjunction with Sales Engagement platform
  • Create, develop, and execute on Video Mailers/content and Direct Mail pieces/special projects

Outside Contractor Management

  • Manage outside marketing contractors' productivity in ongoing weekly communications, product knowledge, vertical applications
  • Assure that goals and metrics are met and or exceeded; on-site visits may be required
  • Support contractor BDR's (business development representatives) as point person for additional information, feedback, and overall assistance/training

Sales and Marketing Team Partnership

  • Establish and maintain a productive working relationship with Sales/Marketing Leadership to ensure execution and efficient handling/tracking of qualified leads
  • Develop and expand relationships within other Divisions of Brother International (BIC), leveraging them to develop opportunities within strategic prospects
  • Work collaboratively with regional Major Account Managers to identify hardware opportunities and account mapping exercises
  • Initiate and facilitate Lead Generation and pipeline management strategies for targets that increase closing ratios

Marketing Demand Projects

  • Create and develop end-user target lists based on already existing/identified personas, working collaboratively with marketing campaign managers
  • Establish relationships with key BMS partners to execute and drive lead/demand generation projects/campaigns
  • Drive vertical specific content to attract and convert targeted end-users, collaborating with Marketing Campaign Managers

Tradeshows

  • Attend and influence potential customers at vertical specific trade shows, events, conferences
  • Develop talk tracks and application usage by engaging end-users in face-to-face scenarios

Reporting & Administration

  • Submit weekly reports that cover accomplishments, challenges, and status updates
  • Enter accurate activity data in CRM systems

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred

Experience

5 years A combination of experience spanning the following areas:

  • Experience creating and driving sales leads for a sales and marketing organization
  • Experience building relationships with customers
  • Experience working with variety of marketing tactics, such as: email, social, web, SEO, industry boards, etc.

Software/Technical Skills

  • B2B social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Sales automation/customer relationship management platforms (preferably Salesforce)
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Eloqua)

Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Knowledge of working with databases and database analytics
  • Ability to manage & guide outside Lead Generation contractors
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to influence and persuade
  • Ability to build strong working relationships

This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by managers.

  • The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $75,000 - $88,000 per year
  • Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
