Responsibilities
| Under general direction, responsible for measuring and analyzing the reliability of the design, materials, processes, cost, and final products of production. Measures reliability necessities of new products and materials. Advises design engineering team on selection of materials. May also recommend changes in the selection and application of production components. Maintains procedures and presents summary reports on failures, analysis, and corrective actions. Has knowledge of ideas, practices, and processes for a specific field. May provide technical leadership and assist in training less experienced engineers. |
