What You'll Do

  • Build and manage various IT application release and production schedules. Lead merge strategies and align cross-channel projects.
  • Managing the various schedules – release, production changes, project timelines, etc.
  • Providing daily metrics/status for the environment and project health (Dashboards or other KPI delivery methods).
  • Verifying gate completion for projects with PCI/Sox implications (checklist).
  • Coordinating projects into existing test environments/maintaining environment schedules
  • Building Release schedules and deployment plans to manage and implement a release.
  • Active management of issues queues from open to closed.
  • Coordinating with project/application & TDS to ensure 3rd party integrations are configured & tested according to project/release schedules.
  • Working with projects, engineering, and QA to define upcoming environment requirements and specifications
  • Determining & coordinating data requirements and dependencies for upcoming projects
  • Fundamental knowledge of applications, systems, and integration points.
  • Work with Engineering/Architects to assess release milestones and adapt/grow them as required over time.
  • Work with Engineering & Project Management (PM) to define interdependencies in deployment plans
  • Define and enforce entry criteria for Production. Acting as a gate.
  • Cross-channel involvement in aligning projects
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Exercises strong judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Networks with key contacts outside their area of expertise
  • Demonstrate good judgment and depth of experience in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Based on tangible and intangible factors, develop recommendations to guide executive management to critical decisions
  • Decisions may impact external relationships, organizational performance/success, and the company’s reputation in the industry (customers, business partners, etc.)

What You Know

  • Must demonstrate strong judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve desired results.
  • Proficiency in defining and implementing useful metrics and targets for the domain is essential.
  • Proven ability to measurably improve processes and best practices to achieve organizational goals.
  • Experience in forming, motivating, and leading high-performance cross-functional teams is required.
  • Must have a track record of building effective partnerships with developers, architects, QA team, and product managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to network with senior internal and external personnel within their area of expertise.
  • Ability to positively influence change and overcome barriers is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills to encourage teamwork throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and training team members as appropriate.
  • Capable of interacting with business leadership at all levels.
  • Ability to contribute to performance appraisals for team members.
  • Must be able to work under general direction for day-to-day activities but receive general instructions for new assignments and areas of higher complexity.
  • Proficiency in determining methods and procedures for new assignments is required.
  • Ability to coordinate activities of other associates in the group.
  • Involvement in recruiting and hiring of team members is expected.
  • Proficiency in conducting team-building and development activities is required.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or related field

Compensation Band

  • $140-145k per year
