We are currently seeking a Senior Release Manager to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Day to day Job Function The IT Release Manager will play a key role on the IT Application Development and Maintenance team. This role is responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring of the client's overall release management process. The role will oversee and manage the packaging, sequencing, and delivery of software releases to production environments.

This includes the monitoring of release progress through the entire pipeline, assuring quality standards are consistently met at each stage gate and coordinating releases and teams at the portfolio, program, and team levels. The Release Manager will oversee the adherence to deployment windows and release processes by software delivery teams, facilitate the appropriate communication channels among software delivery roles and with stakeholders, and continuously improve release management practices. This position operates with a high degree of independence and thought leadership and requires strong collaboration with internal IT leaders, IT vendors and business leaders.

Required Qualifications: 10 + years of demonstrated Release Management experience. 8+ years experience working in an ITIL process environment. 8 + years experience in release management knowledge and skills, with ability to lead teams through complex initiatives.

5 + years experience with release management, environment management, and portfolio and program management best practices 5+ years experience in overseeing the design, packaging, testing, and deployment of softwarereleases. 5+ years' experience in managing large scale releases w/ interdependent applications / multiple scrum teams. 5+ years experienced in establishing strong Release management process.

5+ years' experience in Release management tools ITIL certification is required. Preferred Skills: Working knowledge of current release and deployment standards with ability to conduct research into release issues and tools as required. Good project, resource, and capacity management skills Life & Annuity insurance industry experience desired Ability to work collaboratively across business units and IT customers, effectively communicating ideas in both technical and business terms.

Highly self-motivated and directed with ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail required. Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills BS in Computer Science, MIS, or related field Ideal Mindset: Team Player. You are someone who wants to see everyone on the team succeed and is willing to go the extra mile to help a teammate in need. Empathetic.
