Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Quantitative Researcher in Chicago, IL:

Job Duties : Conduct independent, full-cycle research projects, from framing research questions to analyzing data to sharing insights with stakeholders. Employ a variety of research methodologies, including conducting original surveys and analyzing Slack behavioral data. Collaborate with other members of the quantitative research team and broader Research & Analytics team to improve the speed and rigor of survey research projects across Slack. Turn the patterns you find in our data into key insights and powerful narratives that have the broadest possible application within Slack. Be an evangelist for our customers, both current and potential ones, within Slack. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements : Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Social Psychology, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, or other closely related social science discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, Social Psychology, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, or other closely related social science discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or related field.

Special Skill Requirements : (1) SQL; (2) R; (3) Statistical Testing and Data Analysis; (4) Survey Design (5) Survey Programming; (6) Analysis and Processing of Text-as-Data; (7) Multilevel Modeling and Regression Analysis. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
