Price assigned products (securities, futures, options and commodities) by determining the product's value in the relevant market, and estimating the product price for trading. In addition to individual research and analysis, liaise and review market movements with other traders to determine product price. This includes gathering information (most critical information includes mispriced assets) by analyzing the price each Trader assigned to the products, market analysis, and the actual market movements to increase his/her ability to price products, i.e., determining value in the relevant market and then establishing the price for trading. Forecast market movement and accordingly buy/sell assigned products based on this market viability. Execute trades electronically or by telephone by continually analyzing daily market conditions and establishing price for each product and its relevant market. Manage software engineer tasked with improving trading executions; assign tasks, projects, and test improvements. Monitor the engineer’s progress, and provide feedback to continue development. Lead and mentor interns and junior traders, by teaching them options trading and evaluating their understanding. Build a trading simulator to back-test and determine the optimal trading strategies under different market conditions. Create and maintain quantitative risk models to predict margin requirements for products/positions; compare results with reports generated by the Clearing Firm. Analyze high frequency data from the exchange to build and maintain volatility forecasting models using state of art machine learning methods. Monitor the overall risk of the desk's portfolio and make discretionary decisions to manage risk when necessary.

Must have a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering or related field. Must hold a Series 57 certificate and SIE certification. Must have three (3) years of experience as a Trader including experience electronically trading Options.
