We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Senior Quality Manager with supervisory experience. We are a manufacturer of Metal Stampings.
We are an AS9100:D, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 and ITAR registered company.
Supervise the daily activities of Quality personnel, administer work assignments, and investigate root cause/corrective action for non-conformities.
Analyze Quality practices and implement operational improvements utilizing knowledge of quality system requirements, product quality specifications, and equipment capabilities.
Generate and respond to Corrective Action Requests as a result of product non-conformities, as required, and implement Corrective Action Plans related to manufacturing processes.
Confer with Engineering during product Quality Planning to specify quality requirements, including inspection plans, measurement techniques, and capability analyses.
Specify and implement SPC tools to establish and maintain process control of selected production operations.
Ensure compliance of the quality system to the applicable regulations
Handle customer inquiries from notification by customer through disposition of nonconformance to formal response via completion of Corrective Action Request.
Perform First Article, In-process, and Final Inspection of product in accordance with established Quality Plans using precision measuring equipment, standard inspection instruments, and custom gages. Complete Statistical Process Control requirements. Provide certifications for shipments of finished products to customers, including certification information from suppliers/vendors for raw materials/subcontracted services. Document and maintain records of scrap material and verify disposition.
Develop Quality Plans utilizing knowledge of product manufacturing methods, process and/or customer specified critical dimensions, and suitable inspection techniques.
B.S. Degree or equivalent experience required, ASQ certification preferred.
Knowledge of: basic management principles (planning, leading, delegating, controlling, organizing, staffing, etc.); quality planning, documentation and distribution; internal and external audit planning and techniques; the use of various tools to evaluate the effectiveness of the quality system, including management reviews, internal audits, feedback from internal and external customers, traceability, compliance.
