This role will work with the quality systems and supplier quality to support corporate initiatives. What a Senior Quality Engineer will do:
- This person will have about 7 direct reports and will have them assist in customer and internal audits
- Execute the internal quality audit programs for their site
- Collaborate on decisions that affect QMS and maintenance of quality and environmental certifications
- Manage Supplier's Quality Performance to monitor and determine systems to improve the quality and lead times to improve supply disruptions
- Coordinate and conduct frequent cell-level process layered audits
- Assist to define achievable quality KPI's
- Manage and collects system data for process improvement
- Support and assists the customer-focused team for systemic issues and CAPA resolutions.
- Take systemic approaches to improve the quality system, by using data and inputs from various processes and accounts
- Effectively communicate with the Quality Leader about significant occurrences and trends that impact the quality processes, systems, and supplier quality operations
- Rebuild quality management systems work to fix the quality process to get the system up to date
- Work closely with local suppliers
What you need to be a Senior Quality Engineer:
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Quality Engineer or Senior
- A degree in Engineering
- Demonstrated working knowledge of ISO 9001 and 13485 standards
- Comprehension with a quality management system, measuring techniques, tools, and equipment
- Technical skills within electronics and electro-mechanical principles
- Knowledge of statical process controls, implementation, and reporting
- Proficient in MS Office Platforms
