SAIC seeks a highly experienced and energetic Quality Assurance Analyst to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. In support of the government customer, the SAIC Program Manager, and the Chief Engineer. This position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Executes and manages the workflow of the quality management system and associated aspects of ongoing projects and serves in an IPT/Agile Framework
- Engages with IPT Leads and Functional Managers to interject and capture quality records of performance and operations
- Reviews status of Corrective Actions; schedules to closure; actions to prevent reoccurrence and prepares subsequent surveillance reports
- Assesses process and procedural issues and develops resolutions to meet quality, productivity, and client-satisfaction
- Support Continuous Improvements to mechanisms for monitor, measure and evaluate Technical Performance Measurements (TPM) and Key Performance Measurements (KPI)
- Perform QA activities to verify and validate testing events and assurance to requirements and assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final outputs to expectations
- Report all malfunctions/bugs/errors to managers to ensure immediate action is taken.
- QA reviews and support efforts to deliverables (CDRLS and DALs) to maintain the quality of products delivered to the customer
- Manage quality reports, and relevant quality documentation in a Digital Engineering environment such as Confluence and JIRA
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of relevant experience. May consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in technical Quality Assurance
- Experience in a complex, highly technical and fast-paced environment. Previous Space Force experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail while also working towards high-level strategic objectives
Target salary range: $105,001 - $115,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
