Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automation Engineer to join our team working on a Salesforce project.
- As an automation engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the Salesforce modules by thoroughly testing and validating their functionality, performance, and compatibility.
- Your expertise in Salesforce, HealthCloud and QA automation will contribute to the successful delivery of a robust and user-friendly software solution.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and application features.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications for Salesforce modules, ensuring maximum coverage of business processes.
- Execute manual and automated tests to verify the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of Salesforce functionality.
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java, ensuring coverage of critical integration scenarios.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of our automated testing frameworks, ensuring scalability and maintainability
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and retesting.
- Perform system integration testing, ensuring seamless interaction between various Salesforce modules and other integrated systems.
- Conduct performance and scalability testing to assess the system's response under different conditions and workloads.
- Participate in regression testing to validate that new enhancements and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Collaborate with business users to understand end-user perspectives, gather feedback, and refine test scenarios.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies within the project team.
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on integration testing and automation, including a minimum of 2 years Salesforce/Selenium and Java.
- In-depth understanding of Salesforce modules, architecture, and underlying database structures.
- Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate Salesforce functionality.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools and methodologies.
- Specific experience with Salesforce test automation.
- Hands-on experience with HealthCloud.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of identifying and documenting defects accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing is a plus.
- Salesforce certification is a plus.
This project is estimated six month in length. The wage scale for this role is $50 to $57 per hour, based on skills and experience.
