- New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.
- Assist with the development and execution of strategic public relations campaigns and initiatives to build brand awareness and enhance brand reputation.
- Draft media pitches, press releases, media advisories, bios, announcements, and other communications materials to disseminate to the media.
- Assist with the coordination of the award and speaking submissions process.
- Assist with handling media relations efforts, including managing incoming media requests.
- Coordinate with public relations, events, marketing, public affairs, and other teams to build and manage a workflow calendar for all press releases and reports of coverage highlights.
- Conduct media outreach and scheduling interviews with reporters, staffing interviews when needed.
- Build and maintain excellent ongoing working relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and commentators across trade, local and national media.
- Distribute press releases, pitches, and other announcements to the appropriate media lists under the direction of the AVP, Public Relations & Engagement.
- Monitor and research trends, breaking news and rapid response opportunities to place stories or participate in news generated by the media.
- Monitor, track and report PR efforts to report monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
- Attend conferences, seminars, and events to coordinate press efforts and handle talent as needed.

- Degree in public relations, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field required.
- 3-4 years of public relations or marketing experience.
