Job Description:
Making Telehealth Delivery of Cancer Care at Home Effective and Safe (MATCHES) Research Center at MSK: The NCI funded (P50) MATCHES Telehealth Research Center supports investigators and trainees from multiple subject areas to 1) conduct pragmatic and pilot trials across its integrated network of outpatient oncology practices; 2) leverage a meaningful cache of observational data to build the evidence base vital to establish standard processes for telehealth-supported cancer care; and 3) investigate telehealth safety during cancer treatment and address the risk of exacerbating disparities in access to high quality healthcare. The center’s theme focuses on developing data science methods to integrate telehealth data with other complex data streams to measure outcomes and quality of care.
The MATCHES Research Center is hiring a Senior Project Manager. This is an excellent leadership opportunity to work with a diverse team.
You will:
- Provide management and oversight of the MATCHES pragmatic studies. The Senior Project Manager ensures the MATCHES study team is efficient and effective in providing outstanding support to our global participating institutions and industry partners.
- Works collaboratively with project and departmental leadership to handle projects from development to completion.
- Independently leads projects, teams, and timelines; presents recommendations and disseminates appropriate information.
- Develops new initiatives, acts on progress delays, finds opportunities to optimize workflow and improve efficiency.
- Maintains detailed knowledge and acts as main point of contact to for all assigned projects. Works closely with the three other NCI designated Telehealth Centers.
- Advises and supervises activities of assigned staff, including Project Managers and Project Associates. Leads onboarding of new staff members.
- Supervises project data and results using appropriate tools while consistently monitoring and reporting on progress to all collaborators.
- Prioritizes meetings with NCI Steering Committee; coordinate speaker seminar series.
- Participates in the development of action plans for new initiatives on the team.
You need:
- At least 4-7 years of Clinical Research or Project Management experience.
- Prior experience in clinical research, relationship management, staff management, healthcare and operations management is critical.
- Consistently self-directed and a self-starter, leader and facilitator of group dynamics.
- Outstanding communicator in both written and oral form; skilled in consensus building and conflict resolution.
- Strong ability to develop relationships at all levels throughout the organization.
