KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Lead initiation and execution of >$200MM of planned CAPEX projects tied to the transformation of our US16 Distribution newtwork to support growth, new channels, digital ways of within the distribution footprint.  This role will be E2E leader tasked with program success by engaging senior stakeholders across the organization in SC, T&P, Engineering, and divisions to execute an network transformation that drives E2E cross-functional projects to proactively ensure proper system capacity with the proper fulfillmnent capabilities to deliver premium service at a competitive price.

 

Role will manage directly or via dotted lines multiple project teams comprised of Project Management, Operational Start-Up Leads, IT and System Experts, 3rd Party Contractors, and Various Functional Resources supporting various phases of start-up and validation.

 

Role will function as both the Greenfield Distribution Center Start Up Expert, Supply Chain Automation and Fulfillment Expert, as well as the Program Manager for major capitol projects across NUSA Supply Chain.  Expectation is to manage 1-3 major capital projects in various forms of execution at any given time. Role will work closely with SC Strategy, T&P Strategy, Engineering, and 3rd Party Vendors to transform Business Cases and Network Strategies into reality.  Role will need to interface with senior leaders from ELT, SCLT, and TPLT to influence and ensure proper support.

 

Role will require knowledge of Greenfield Site Start Ups, Brownfield Site Expansions, Warehouse Systems, Warehouse Automation Systems (ASRS, AGVs, Automated Layer Pickers, etc...) Master Data Setting, Operational Best Practices, Integrated Logistics throughput, plus robust experience in execute >$10 MM performance improvement projects.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • Bachelor Degree, MBA desired but not required

 

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Practical 10+ experience, primarily in a supply chain or manufacturing settings with a pragmatic sense of what will work, ability to articulate how operational capabilities will create the desired commercial competitive advantage.
  • Food/beverage experience to be able to challenge conventional thinking on packaging strategy, route-to-market, etc.
  • Experience implementing one or more multi-million dollar greenfield factory/warehouses, brownfield site expansion projects, and physical automation projects involving AGVs, ASRS', or Co-Bots within a operational setting.
  • Proven experience managing projects >$25MM projects involving engineering and IT components and interfacing with senior management.
  • Demonstrated people management success of both direct and indirect reports (teams over 50 people)

  • Ability to create organizational alignment with excellent stakeholder management
  • Working knowledge of capacity utilization, manufacturing performance, and capital planning practices
  • Project and portfolio management
  • Financial acumen
  • Identification of value creation, particularly in a manufacturing environment
  • Leverage Nestle standard practices and policies: NCE, NLF, NCBP, GI's, etc
  • Reference Nestle vision, values, and principles to guide day-to-day decisions and activities

 

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $132k-$183k base salary. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
