What you'll do:

• Manage programs and projects from conception to product launch/closeout
• Receive priorities and program/project specifics and develop, plan, and prioritize daily activities
• Define when programs are to set up to manage multiple connected projects, and set up the method and format for this program level management
• Identify and negotiate schedules, milestones, and resources required to meet project and program objectives
• Identify key stakeholders and gain their active participation
• Define inputs/outputs (deliverables) for assigned projects and programs
• Facilitate team meetings, takes notes, and ensures action items are completed in a timely manner
• Ensure cross functional communication is well accomplished to ensure all project or program participants or stake holders are given appropriate information to allow them to make effective decisions
• Define and manage specific roles and responsibilities for the project
• Manage moderately complex projects and programs
• High demands for managerial duties and responsibilities, including possibly direct supervisory responsibility for other employees in technical positions
• Assist and contribute to creation, facilitation, and submission of the NPD reports
• Stage Gate process and deliverables expert
• Promotes global training and implementation
• Apply creativity to revise/improve product launches
• Ensure proper scope elicitation and manage scope change, communication, issues, risks, and organizational change to meet project objectives
• Utilize and maintain Project Management tools such as project plan, risk analysis, project charter, etc.
• Develop extensive project management controls for navigation complex, cross organizational boundaries
• Continuous improvement mindset collaborating with other project/Program Managers and key stakeholders to drive process improvements
• Expected to be a key driver of such improvements contributing regularly to the organizational learning and drive the group's ability to improve
• Knowledge of marketplace trends relevant to their programs/projects and works to broaden familiarity with full competitive space

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business or engineering field
• Proven experience in technical leadership or project management
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience
• Proven stakeholder management skills and experience managing a team
• PMP preferred
• Skilled at managing cross functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met
• Well versed in MS Office, MS Project and other project management tools
• Capable of facilitating project team meetings
• Excellent communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have experience managing both domestic and overseas cross functional project teams
• Knowledgeable in program management methodologies and techniques; performance evaluation and change management principles
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
