Senior Production Associate

Position Summary

Santé Laboratories is seeking a Senior Production Associate with a passion for wellness. Our mission is to unlock meaningful health benefits in finished consumer goods. We do this by using a patented, plant-derived delivery technology platform using clean ingredients to affordably solve solubility, stability, sensory and bioavailability challenges. The Senior Production Associate will participate in multiple levels of product lifecycle from raw ingredient sampling to formulation and shipping, while maintaining current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Will provide interdepartmental support as needed to accomplish company goals. The Senior Production Associate demonstrates a positive attitude to working safely, completing tasks Right-First-Time, and delivering on-time.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and independently manage the formulation process of new and existing beverage concentrates in a cGMP environment while ensuring completion batch records, forms, and documents.
• Work side by side with quality team to ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Work with supply chain to maintain and order product ingredients and consumables.
• Read and record instrument data and tabulate data.
• Interact with equipment and consumable vendors.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of all working areas (5S) is maintained.
• Work on special projects and company improvement initiatives as directed by management.
• Monitor and maintain discipline in the use of gowning/PPE.
• Report any illness, health, or quality concerns to management.
• Review and draft SOPs to support manufacturing processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Degree Requirements and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Self-starter, resourceful, flexible, responsive, detail oriented and possess a good work ethic.
• Must possess excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to draft and maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed.
• Adequate vision (corrected/uncorrected) to read batch records, fine instruments such as a caliper, instrument displays, etc. and perform visual inspections for defects.
• Industry experience in a regulated environment (e.g. FDA), including dietary supplements, nutraceuticals or food and beverage manufacturing preferred.
• Basic knowledge and proficiency with productivity software, e.g. Microsoft Office

Other Requirements

• This position requires lifting (up to 50 lbs alone), exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals and active pharmaceutical ingredients.
• Must be able to wear PPE, including safety eye ware, facemask, and steel toe shoes.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment, gowning personal protective equipment and maintaining personal hygiene in accordance with requirements.
• May require periodic evening, weekend, and holiday work, as necessary, to meet company deadlines.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
