Location: US Remote

The Team: Core Product Management Team
The Core Product Management team drives Core Enterprise Product Development and works closely with our enterprise financial services partners to develop features that drive growth. This team is responsible for product features as we onboard new partners onto the SigFig platform. Our responsibilities include influencing and developing the Core Product roadmap and features and understanding and influencing SigFig enterprise partner strategy through our deep partner knowledge and understanding of their needs to drive growth. We work cross functionally with revenue, design, engineering, marketing and delivery teams to prioritize and build new enterprise features and define roadmaps for our partners.

More specific to this role, the Core Product Management team is also responsible for managing all aspects of investment management and trading on the platform and ensuring our Partner and internal quality SLAs are met.

The Opportunity: Senior Manager for Trading & Investments
As a Senior Manager for Trading & Investments you will be responsible for SigFig trading and investment management services on the platform. You are a leader who is committed to understanding different perspectives and developing creative win-win solutions. You think from an enterprise perspective and can balance multiple points of view and priorities to drive growth of the SigFig product and operational commitments to our partners. You are comfortable asking challenging questions and developing creative solutions to our partners problems. You will report to the Chief Investment Officer and GM of Digital Wealth.

Responsibilities: Responsible for developing a full understanding of the trading and investment management processes, algorithms and requirements required to maintain the existing platform services while determining solutions for new capabilities required to meet our partners needs. To achieve success in this role you will work closely with external partners, the SigFig trading, and engineering teams while working with other product colleagues to ensure the immediate and long-term success for your partners with the cross functional SigFig team.

* Work with stakeholders (SigFig Trading, Engineering and external Partners) to develop a deep understanding of the platform capabilities and services
* All investment management functions – including but not limited to portfolio construction, risk and investment algorithms, working with 3rd party portfolio managers on implementing and ongoing model management and model due diligence
* Work with the SigFig Trading and engineering teams to maintain and develop Trading capabilities, processes, and algorithms
* Goals & metrics – establish goals to identify opportunities and track feature success
* Ensure the quality of materials produced by the product management teams are kept to a high standard to articulate platform features, enhancements, and roadmaps to internal and external stakeholders such as Marketing, Training, Sales, Operations, Legal and Compliance
* Adherence to and application of SigFig's legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s)
* As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support testing and reporting to both external partners and internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk

Ideal SigFigian for this Role
  • 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry in roles related to trading operations and investment management
  • Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements in an investment advisory capacity
  • Experience in working cross functional roles and teams
  • Some experience as a Product Manager
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual base salary range for this position is USD$175,000 to $225,000. Note, we take into consideration an individual's background, experience, and geographic location, among other factors, in determining final salary. This role is also eligible for equity in the company, medical, dental and life insurance, EAP, 401(k) with matching, monthly internet stipend, WFH stipend, $1000 annual wellness benefit, paid parental leave, paid sick leave, Learning & Development opportunity, and flexible PTO.
