ZF Active Safety US Inc. has a job opening for the position of Senior Product Integration Engineer based out of its location in Northville, MI.
Job Duties: Responsible to Design, build, and test machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) services for ADAS function validation; Apply understanding of automotive ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) industry to help ideate solutions, prioritize feature implementations, and lead delivery of products into market from concept to launch; Own and develop, in coordination with Head of Product Development, a roadmap of virtual validation toolchain for ADAS L2+ function development & testing; Own and deliver solutions for ADAS / AD Scenario based Testing; Own business case development for new ADAS-related Digital Product opportunities; Develop customer demonstrations, mockups, or prototypes of products; Develop proofs-of-concept for products that address gaps in virtual validation toolchain; Create and maintain a database capturing the landscape of suppliers offering tools & services related to ADAS virtual validation, noting strengths, weaknesses, etc.; Own and develop individual Statements-of-Work for each new product opportunity, inclu. Product use cases & performance KPI’s needed by end customer; and Perform KPI analysis and create summary reports for stakeholder review. Position requires up to 5% travel to domestic and international locations, including travel to supplier sites for training and product evaluations, and travel to ZF office locations to support product development. A hybrid (in-office and telecommute) work schedule is available.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field, plus 2 years of experience in Product Integration Engineering, Software Engineering, or related occupations and demonstrated experience with: Automotive software engineering; Automotive system simulation; Operation of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test systems; Supplier management; Codebeamer; Python; dSpace ModelDesk; dSpace AutomationDesk; dSpace ControlDesk; Microsoft Azure ML Studio; and Matlab Simulink.
